Donald Reed

Donald A. "Andy" Reed, age 59, passed away on October 6, 2023.

He was born March 21, 1964 to Donald "Bud" and Rita (Johnson) Reed in Council Bluffs, IA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Reed; daughter, Ashely Reed; uncle, Jack Johnson; beloved dog, Max.

Andy is survived by his children, Sally (Tyler) Welch and Zachary (Renee) McManigal; father, Donald "Bud" Reed; siblings, Debbie (Randy) Snipes, Richard (Diane) Reed, Deann (Joseph) Anderson, and Kevin (Elly) Reed; grandchildren, Joshua Rief, Jaden McManigal, Shelby Shipley, Jonah McManigal, Mackenzie Shipley, and Lydia Wold; favorite aunt, Bev Allison; other aunts and uncles; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Celebration of Life will be 2:00 - 5:00 p.m on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Backfield Bar & Grill (2117 Antique City Dr., Walnit, IA 51577)   This event will also celebrate the life of his favorite uncle, Jack Johnson, who died in February of 2020.
