Donna M. Bowsman

Donna M. Bowsman, age 81, passed away December 29, 2014 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 19, 1933 to the late Emil & Ruth (Wheeler) Wicina. She and her husband owned and operated Quick Service Lawn Mower for many years, retiring in 1999. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Bowsman Jr.; son-in-law, Barry Childs. Donna is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jerry Bowsman; daughters, Cary Childs (Rodney Yost) and Lynn Bowsman; daughter-in-law, Nancy Bowsman; brother and sister-in-law, Robert & Sandi Wicina; grandchildren: Jason Horn, Brandon Childs, Jordan Childs, Cameron Childs, Tina Bowsman, Stacy Huffman; great grandchildren: Owen Bowsman, Jared Huffman, Kaylee Huffman, Logan Huffman and many other family and friends. Funeral service is Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the service. Interment is in the Glenwood, Iowa Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
