Donna P Stolz

Donna P. Stolz, age 82, of Council Bluffs passed away August 9, 2016 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. She was born in Logan, Iowa on August 23, 1933 to the late Prosper and Margaret (Laughhunn) Smith. Donna graduated from Missouri Valley High School and then worked for various Insurance Agencies. She and her late husband enjoyed square dancing for many years and she was a volunteer at The Center. Donna was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Stolz; brother, Lyle Smith and special friend, Lawrence Duane Timmons. Donna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Joy Stolz; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Roy Harman; sister, Lavina Jones; grandchildren, Kelli Thomas (Jerry), Brian Mauer, Adam Mauer, Candice DeLuca (Phil), Matthew Stolz (Kristen) and Nathaniel Stolz; 7 great grandchildren; beloved cat, Boots; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends. Recitation of the Rosary is 3:00 p.m. on Sunday followed by visitation until 7:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Interment will be later that afternoon in the St. Bridget Cemetery near Magnolia, Iowa. Memorials are suggested to The Center.
