Dorothy M. O'Brien

Dorothy Mae O'Brien, age 85, passed away in Council Bluffs, Iowa on May 22, 2019.

She was born on October 3, 1933 to the late Oscar and Esther (Brunsvold) Ausenhus.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Jack O'Brien; son, Scott O'Brien; son-in-law, Jeff Rindone; brothers, Roy Ausenhus, Norris Ausenhus; sisters, Jane Bock and Vernis Gesme; daughter-in-law, Tammy O'Brien; granddaughter, Audrey Rindone.

She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Rindone, D. Denise Thompson (David); son, Russell O'Brien; grandchildren, Brien Rindone, Shannon Peacher, Sheila Adair, Whitney Stevens, Brandon Thompson, Jenna Smith, Marshall Thompson, Collin Thompson, Johnathon O'Brien, Mary Beth O'Brien, Patrick O'Brien, Mikayla Meiss; 30 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service is Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Visitation will be during the hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Open Door Mission.
