Doug Edward Hanke

Doug E. Hanke, age 47, of Council Bluffs passed away September 4, 2014. He was born January 28, 1967. Doug graduated from Lewis Central High School and worked at Searle Petroleum and later, Red Giant Oil. He was also associated with Saar Trucking and a member of First Christian Church. Doug is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed & Bee Lang; uncle, Norman Whiteley; cousin, Craig Lang. Doug is survived by his mother, Nancy Hanke; sister and brother-in-law, Julie & Doug Hendrix; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff & Arlynda Hanke; nieces, Emily Hendrix, Morgan Hendrix and Alecia Hanke; nephew, Austin Hanke; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Sunday 3-5PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is Monday 3PM at First Christian Church 20794 Hwy 92 in Council Bluffs. Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church.
