Douglas Paine

Douglas Alan Paine age 69 of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away November 26, 2012 at home. Douglas was born July 31, 1943 in Oxford, Nebraska to the late Russell and Virgina (Guthrie) Paine. He graduated from Edison High School in Edison, Nebraska and from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He was a caseworker for West Central Development Corporation in Harlan, Iowa for twenty six years before retiring in 2010 due to failing health. Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents and brother Robert. He is survived by his brother Donald Paine and wife Nancy and host of relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 1 at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home and Crematory. A memorial service will also be held at a later date in Edison, Nebraska
