Douglas Thompson

Douglas A. Thompson, age 85, passed away March 28, 2024. He was born July 27, 1938 to Melvin and Bessie (Kohl) Thompson in Mount Vernon, IA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by spouse, Karen Thompson; sister, Alice Johns; grandchild, Andrew Smith; and great grandchild, Jackson Rabe.

Douglas is survived by son, Ken (Kit) Thompson; daughters, Kim (John) Thompsen, Kathryn Larson; brother, Dennis (Marciene) Thompson; brother-in-law, Chuck Johns; grandchildren, Brian Eyberg, Jacob (Amy) Eyberg, Katrina (Gram) Mether, Samantha (Trent) Rabe; great grandchildren, Gray Eyberg, Coy Eyberg, Eastyn Mether, Cash Mether, Bailey Rabe, and Julian Rabe; and a host of other family and friends.

Private family services will be held.
