Duane William Meier

Duane William Meier, age 42, of Council Bluffs passed away at his home on July 20, 2015. He was born in Harlan, Iowa on February 17, 1973 to Fred and Mona Meier. He was raised in Persia, Iowa and attended Tri-Center High School near Neola. Duane was preceded in death by his sister, Dawnell Faye Holland and his father, Fred Duane Meier. Duane is survived by his mother, Mona Meier; son, Harley Meier; daughter, Mikayla Meier; mother of his children, Pam Meier; step-children, Brandy Pester, Cody Pester and Nicole Pester; niece, Courtney Holland; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Wednesday 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Thursday 10:00a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Valley View Cemetery near Persia, Iowa. The family will direct memorials.
