E. Edward "Ed" Petty

E. Edward "Ed" Petty, age 89, passed away at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital on December 21, 2023.

He was born November 2, 1934, to the late Earnest "Howard" and Izola (Lane) Petty in Woodland, IA. Ed retired from Kellogg's and attended El Bethel Assembly of God.

He was preceded in death by father, Earnest Petty; mother, Izola Lane.

Ed is survived by his wife of 64 years, Karen Petty; daughters, Marlita (Brian) Schroeder, Sheila (Howard) Campbell, and Myrna Steiner; brothers, Marcus "Chester" Petty, Nelson "Clem" (Delores) Petty, and David "Robert" Petty; grandchildren, Shayna (Jack) Kilgore, Kalynn (Ryan) Keast, and Kyle (Kaylyn) Steiner; 10 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. Interment will be in the Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
