Edward F. Weber

Edward F. Weber, age 80, of Council Bluffs passed away June 30, 2014. He was born September 15, 1933 in rural Woodbury County to the late Oliver & Cora Weber. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. After retiring from Northwestern Bell, he spent 20 years as a missionary with Wycliffe Bible Translators. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Ritchie. Edward is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marietta Weber; sons and daughters-in-law, Dan & Kerry Weber, Curt & Nancy Weber, Ken & Mary Ann Weber; daughter, Shelly Weber; sisters, Marian Gallagher and Deloras Keck (Leo); brother, Roland Weber (Cindy); 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. A celebration of his life will be on Thursday 10AM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski.
