Edwin Carter Weitz

Edwin C. Weitz, 85 years old, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at Risen Son Christian Village in Council Bluffs. He was born October 2, 1932 in Helena, Montana to the late Henrich and Elizabeth (Carter) Weitz. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Diane Weitz in 2014.

He is survived by his daughter, Libby Snipes (Ricky) and his son, Carter Weitz (Tami); his brother, Robert Weitz (Vern); grandchildren, Neil Raus (Stephanie Crisp), Edwin Carter Weitz, III, Matt Raus (Kelsie Moylan), Michael Weitz (Nicole), Linden Weitz (Isabella Peek), Brittney Daley-Wake (Bobby); great grandchildren, Avery Raus and Jackson Weitz; 3 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Private memorial services will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home. The family will direct the memorials.
