Edwin G. Mchargue

Edwin G. McHargue, age 60, passed away in Omaha, Nebraska on February 27, 2019.

He was born in Council Bluffs on July 22, 1958 to the late Walter and Mary (Hansen) McHargue. He graduated from Wilmington High School in Wilmot, South Dakota with the class of 1977. He spent many years as a mechanic and could fix almost any problem. He loved fishing as much as he could, especially with his best friend and dog, Snickers! He was an amazing cook and baker. He was also a huge NASCAR fan! His favorite driver being Dale Earnhardt, Sr. On Sundays you could usually find him in front of the t.v.

Edwin is survived by his daughter, Amanda Drennen (Scott Lewis); son, Aaron McHargue; sister, Vickie McKeeman (Bob); grandchildren, Logan and Braxton Drennen; nieces, Brandi McKeeman, Jenni Lucas; nephew, Chad McKeeman; and his loyal companion, Snickers.

Graveside service is Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., at the Omaha National Cemetery. Celebration of Life will be at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home after the interment at 3:00 p.m.
