Elizabeth ?Lib? Frances Coke was born July 21, 1929 in Louisville, Kentucky to John Dallas Coke, Jr. and Prudence F. (Jenkins) Coke. She graduated from Louisville Girls High in 1947. Lib worked for National Distillers in Louisville for 27 years and in 1980 moved to Treynor, Iowa. She had first worked for First Omaha Securities, Inc and then the Oakland Beef Plant. She returned to Ameritrade, Inc. retiring in 1994. Lib was part of the opening crew at the Sears Store in Council Bluffs and retired from there in 2006. Lib became a member of Carson Presbyterian Church when she moved to Treynor. After moving to Council Bluffs in 2007, she attended Emanuel Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs. Lib enjoyed life including bowling and going to the National Bowling Congress in 2000 in Reno, Nevada. After retirement, she took up golfing and playing cards, especially Bunko with her friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and five brothers, Jesse Harlan, Audrey Lynn, John Dallas III, William Emerson and Charles Andrew. She is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and several friends. Memorial Service is Thursday 2:00PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory. A reception will follow in the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room. Memorials are suggested to Carson Presbyterian Women or Emanuel Lutheran Church.
