Elizabeth Leitz

Elizabeth Ann Leitz, age 78, of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away surrounded by her family on November 22, 2024 at Midlands Living Center. She was born on June 12, 1946 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Robert and Lucille (Stortenbecker) Bensley. She graduated from Silver City High School in 1964.

Elizabeth married Kenneth Leitz on August 22, 1965 at Epworth United Methodist Church. She worked for Johnson Pharmacy for over 32 years. She enjoyed camping and visiting with friends and family. She especially loved spending time with all of her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her Parents and husband, Kenneth.

She will be fondly remembered by her sons, Robert (Sande) Leitz and Kenneth (Dawn) Leitz; 9, grandchildren; 11, great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Warehouse Venue, 1414 West Broadway, Council Bluffs, IA.
