Ella L. Wade

Ella L. Wade, age 85 of Council Bluffs passed away February 8, 2012 at the Hospice House in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born on September 3, 1926 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to the late Harry Sr. & Charlotte (Wohlers) Petersen. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ernest ?Ernie? Wade to whom she was married from August 19, 1951 until his passing September 13, 2002. She is also preceded by her two brothers, Harry & Harold Petersen. Ella is survived by her children, Karen Jones (Clay), Nancy Paladino (Henry), Clark Wade, Linda Croushorn (Stan), Tracy Wade (Carol); sisters, Lois Schack and Dorothy Nelson; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation is Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Nathan Sherrill officiating. Interment is in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Hoy-Kilnoski Community Room. The family will direct memorials.
