Elnora "Nordie" M. Drake

Elnora "Nordie" M. Drake, age 80, passed away April 3, 2018.

She was born in Iowa City, Iowa on December 21, 1937 to the late Leo and Grace (Hunter) Hite. Elnora was married to James F. Drake at the First Christian Church and she taught Sunday School for many years. She retired from Charles Schneider Furniture.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Drake; son, Kenneth Drake; 6 sisters and 5 brothers.

Elnora is survived by her children, Cindy Yopp, Tammy Horton (James), James F. Drake II (Cathy); sister, Harriet Davis; brother, Robert Hite; grandchildren, Amy Yopp-Nuzum, Shawna Hawkins (Chris), Sara Porter, Aaron Williams, Jessie Drake (Stasia); 12 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Thursday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 4:00p.m. on Friday at the funeral Home. The family will direct memorials.
