Elwyn J. Siebels

Elwyn J. Siebels, age 85, passed away August 26, 2015. He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on June 10, 1930 to the late Walter and Grace (Schnepel) Siebels. Elwyn graduated from Minden High School with the class of 1947 and then proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a cattle buyer for over 50 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Siebels. Elwyn is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Jackie Siebels, Dave and Lisa Siebels; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Joyce Siebels; grandchildren, Michelle, Dan, Blaine and Jaxen Siebels. Memorial service is 11:00a.m. on Saturday with visitation during the hour prior to the service at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Inurnment will be later that afternoon in the Minden, Iowa Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
