Eva I. Manhart

Eva I. Manhart, age 88, passed away January 10, 2021.

She was born April 21, 1932 to the late Orville and Hester Gleason in Shelby, Iowa. Eva graduated from Neola High School with the class of 1949 and worked as a secretary at Mutual of Omaha.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Manhart; granddaughter, Melissa Ann Manhart; sister, Esther Young; brothers, Merrell and Emery Gleason.

Eva is survived by her children, Vern Manhart (Lois Gittins), Linda Manhart, David Manhart (Cindy), Dan Manhart (Peggy) and Calvin Manhart (Amy); grandchildren, Brian Manhart (Joanne), Traci Ring (Randy), Mary Moeller (Jason), Katie Chase, Laura VanNordstrand (Willie), John Zellmer, Sarah Hiller (Chris), Samantha Brand, Andrew Manhart (Ashley), Michele Manhart (Chris LaBuda), Scott Manhart (Jamie), Kelli Katzer (Cliff) and Jill Manhart; 21 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation with the family present is at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 12, 2021. A second visitation will be on Wednesday morning beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Minden United Church of Christ. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment is in the Minden, Iowa Cemetery.
