Evelyn Marietta Weber

Evelyn Marietta Weber passed away September 28, 2018 at the age of 84. She was born to Lawrence W. "Lonky" Polly and Ella (Hughes) Polly in Whiting, Iowa. Known as "Marietta" by family and friends, she was born April 24, 1934. Marietta is survived by her children Dan Weber (Kerry), Lincoln University, PA, Curt Weber (Nancy), Freeport, FL, Ken Weber (Mary Ann), Council Bluffs, IA, and Shelly Weber, Plano, TX; grandchildren Melanie Gehrmann (Ryan), Scott Weber (Jessica), Meredith Reynolds (Colin), Michelle Packwood (Steve), Jason Weber (Kim), Troy Weber (Jacinta), Eric Weber (Joanna), Ryan Weber; and great-grandchildren Miles, Kai, Emma, Haven, Ezekiel, Lydia, Laura (Colton), Rachel, Nicole, Jasmine, Haden, Harrison, Evelyn, Grace, Vivian, and Jackson. Preceded in death by parents; and her husband of 60 years, Edward F. Weber. Marietta was passionate about her family and her faith. She will be missed and remembered by many who were blessed to have known her as mom, grandma, aunt, cousin, friend, and prayer partner. Services at 2 pm Saturday, October 13, at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home, Council Bluffs, Iowa. Memorials to Wycliffe Bible Translators. Visitation one hour prior to service. A dessert reception will follow in the community room.
