Fa Tong Vang

Fa Tong Vang, age 105, passed away on May 26, 2016 in Glenwood, Iowa. He was born in Xiengkhaung, Laos on January 4, 1911. He was a farmer and merchant all of his life. From 1962 to 1975, he was the town Mayor. He was born and lived in Naj Nyoos until the end of the Vietnam War in 1975. He left behind 10 children (7 sons and 3 daughters), Xiong Yang Vang, Xia Xiong, Yia Vang, Raymond Vang, You Thao Vang, By Vang, Mao Yang, Geu Vang, Pay Xiong, Chue Vangand; step-daughter, Bao Vang, 64 grandchildren, 95 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 18th, 2016 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home, 1221 North 16th Street, Council Bluffs, Iowa 51501. Burial will be Monday, June 20th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 3901 N. Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834.
