Frances A. Mass

Frances A. Mass, age 80, of Council Bluffs passed away January 6, 2014 at Midlands Living Center. She was born in Council Bluffs on March 29, 1933 to the late Donald & Sylvia (Adams) McKern. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mass; sisters, Phyllis Coan and Maxine Mass; brother, Alan McKern; grandson, Nicholas Ray Mass. Frances is survived by her children, Charles Mass, Debra Wendt (Terry), Jeff Mass (Marilyn) and Steven Mass (Cindy); sisters, Patricia McKern and Elaine Mass; brother, Bill McKern; grandchildren, Jamie Wendt (Kathy), Joseph Wendt, Jason Mass (Tiffany), Justin Mass (Candice), Heather Fitzgerald, Brandon Mass, Cinda Mass, Josh Mass; 12 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials are suggested to Heartland Harvest Ministries.
