Frank Farwell

August 5, 1958 — December 25, 2024

"In loving memory of Frank "FC" Farwell

Frank, lovingly known as "FC", peacefully passed away on December 25, 2024, in the presence of loved ones, and is now awaiting the Return of our Lord, Jesus Christ. A passionate servant of God, he devoted his life to spreading the message of faith, love, power and hope to communities around the world.

FC was born in Youngstown, Ohio, on August 1958, to Paul Farwell, Sr. and Marie (née: Baumann Way) Farwell. Soon after graduating from South Range High School, he completed the P.F.A.L. Christian Class and then served a year in Christian missions; (a pre-cursor to his latter life years, between 2012-2023, of mission field service to India, Kenya, Uganda, and Pakistan). Following his first mission service year, he graduated from TWI Christian College in Indiana with an Associate Degree in Ministry Leadership & Bible. He never stopped learning, always studying, and continuing his education in researching God's Word, it and his family being his life's heart-beat.

He moved with his wife, Anita, to Iowa, where they served as multi-denominational Christian ministers for over 37 years, and owned several small business ventures. After rededicating his life to serve God through Jesus Christ he started his digital broadcast ministry, Fire Catcher Ministries, where he joyfully taught from his vast knowledge of over 40 years of biblical research. FC travelled within the U.S. as well as to several other countries to equip Christian believers in the knowledge and practical application of God's Word through the Holy Spirit power.

Known for his kind heart and spiritual insight, FC aimed to make a lasting impact on everyone he met; always with a view to bring men and women to Jesus Christ, and help them see themselves-, and experience the reality of outwardly manifesting the power of the Holy Spirit within them. (Colossians 1:27) Those who knew FC loved him for his love of the Scriptures, love for God's people, and love of life, refusing to let the negativity of the world have any effect on his outlook on life, and anything God-connected.

Growing up with a love for the outdoors he adventured to many U.S. National Parks seeking opportunities for his many hobbies including Astronomy, Hang Gliding, Hiking/Rock-Climbing, Biking (RAGBRAI), and Kayaking, joining-up with friends who shared the same thrills. He was an expert in automobile engines, electronics, and Morse Code, leading to an enjoyment in Ham Radio communications across the globe.

He is survived by his wife, Anita; his children: Dr. Victoria Kwasa (Dr. Benjamin Kwasa), Austin, and 1st Lt. Francesca Hodge (Brett); his grandchildren, Elisha and Esther Kwasa; his siblings: Dan (Melody), Paul, Jr. (Jean), Barbara, and his nephew, Paul "Trey", III. His parents-in-law: Ana, and Pedro; sisters-in-law: Margie, Maluk, Norma, Sherry (Enrique), and the many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly and when gathered together never an opportunity to rambunctiously laugh together was lost. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and aunts and uncle.

The Celebration of Life Service for FC will be held Saturday, April 19th, 2025, at 2pm at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home in Council Bluffs. The family invites all who knew and loved FC to join them in honoring his life and legacy."
