Frederick A. Phillips

Frederick A. Phillips, age 70, passed away February 2, 2017 at the Josie Harper Hospice House.

He was born in Council Bluffs on December 23, 1946 to Everett and Deloris (Rowland) Phillips. Frederick proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a son, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather whose love ran deep.

By trade he was a carpenter who loved to use his hands. He was a musician and played the guitar but most importantly he was a vessel used by God to lead people to the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Shelly and brother, Denny.

Frederick is survived by his children, Michele Sanford (Jewel), Kelly Radtke, Christina Howrey (Jamie), Jennifer Reif (Chris), Bryan Ferry (Carol); mother, Deloris Phillips; brothers, Bob Phillips (Edna), Ed Phillips (Julia), Jody Phillips (Kathy); sister, Marti Jo Robinson (Lee); grandchildren, Jewel III, Jordan, Joshua, Austin, Dani, Joey, Nick, Noah and James; great grandchildren, Amieya, Jadon, Kaydence, Kali. Kennedy and Violet and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Monday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. The family will direct memorials
