Frederick R. Peterson

Frederick R. Jocko Pete Peterson Jr., age 90, of Council Bluffs passed away April 25, 2014. He was born in Council Bluffs on September 8, 1923 to the late Frederick & Ruth (Ehlers) Peterson Sr. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1941 and then served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Frederick retired after a career with the Milwaukee Rail Road. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Peterson. Frederick is survived by his wife, Betty Peterson; son, Mark Peterson; step-son, Terry Epperson and his wife, Lori; step-daughter, Sharon Epperson; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
