Gary C. Frost

Gary C. Frost, age 79, passed away at his home on April 4, 2014. He was born in Council Bluffs on September 16, 1934 to the late Finley & Georgia (Robinson) Frost. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1953. Gary was a lifelong farmer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Frost and grandson, Zachery Smith. Gary is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret Marge Frost; daughters, Vicki Frost, Susan Frost-Smith and her husband, Gary Smith, Lora Walter and her husband, Gene; sister, Georgianna Gary & her husband, Dr. Tom Gary; brother & sister-in-law, Joe & Linda Frost; grandchildren, Lukas Smith, Amy Smith (wife of Zach), Cody Smith and wife Calli, Nick Walter, and wife Jessica, Heather Thomas and husband Michael, Adam Frost-Briley and wife Stacey, Emma Frost-Briley, Anna Bolte and husband Evan and Elle Frost-Briley; great grandchildren, Kelsey, Kolby, Jack, Sam, Molly, Brogan, Brixton; honorary daughter, Annette DeRond-Hettinger and many other family and friends. A celebration of his life will be Thursday at 6:30 p.m. with fellowship to follow at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Crescent, Iowa Veterans Memorial.
