Gary M. "Mike" Lesley

Mike Lesley passed away suddenly on August 4, 2023 at the age of 57.

He was born on October 13, 1965 to Terry and Joyce Lesley. Mike graduated from Central High School in Omaha in 1984. He was a Print Manager at Physicians Mutual where he worked for 34 years.

Mike married the love of his life, Paula in 1999 and they have three kids that he absolutely adored (Jacob, Garrett and Maryn).

Mike was very involved in his kids’ activities. He coached them in baseball and on the weekends he would take them to the field to practice or to the driving range to practice their golf swing.

Mike was a lifelong fan of the Huskers and Phillies and he passed down his love for both teams to his boys.

Mike is survived by his wife of 24 years, Paula Lesley; parents, Terry (Georgianna) Lesley and Joyce Lesley; children, Jacob Lesley, Garrett Lesley, and Maryn Lesley; siblings, Wayne (Heather) Lesley, Jenny (Bryan) Doughman, Jill (Tucker) Lesley, Shelly (Jason Early) Lesley, and Heather Hawkins; nieces and nephews; a host of other family and friends.

In honor of Mike’s love of the Huskers and Phillies, please wear your Huskers/Phillies gear to the funeral.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 09, 2023.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Interment is in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
