Gary "Monk" Leinen

Gary A. Monk Leinen, age 62, of Council Bluffs passed away March 9, 2015. He was born in Manning, Iowa on June 2, 1952 to Leo C. and Marjorie M. (Burger) Leinen. Gary was preceded in death by his father and sister, Mary Ann Anderson. Gary is survived by his daughters, Cori and her husband Wayne Mardi and Wendy Leinen; mother, Marjorie Leinen, siblings, Sharon Kreus, Gail Leinen (Connie), Nancy Skinner (Rob), Leo Leinen Jr. (Brenda), Cindy Grau, Doug Leinen (Lora), Lisa Wieduwilt (Robert), Brian Leinen (Debra); grandchildren, Caleb Mardi and Erin Mardi; companion, Phyllis Dutcher; nieces, nephews, cousins and special brothers. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a memorial service to start at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday April 4, 2015 at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home.
