Genevera Reed

Genevera “Sue” (McDaniel) Reed, age 70, passed away at her home on July 17, 2017.

She was born April 10, 1947 in Urbana, Missouri to the late Lawrence J. McDaniel and Sarah “Harriet” Watkins Schickner.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Reed; daughter, Michelle (Murray) Vigus; sister, Paula Williams; in-laws, Stan and Irene Reed.

Sue is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael “Scott” and Jee Gillispie; step-daughters, Kristi Reed and Lynn Reed; grandchildren, Zane Nichols, Genna Sue Reed, Alexandra Gillispie, Liam Gillispie, Sophia Gillispie, Cameron Jones; great grandchildren, Jamison and Zoey Stevens; siblings, Patricia Lawson (Terry), Sheryl Madden (Leroy), Stanley McDaniel (Kristi), Lynn McDaniel, Jeff Schickner; step-father, Virgil “Buzz” Schickner; a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Friday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment is in the Hardin Township Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Wings of Hope.
