Gerald D. "Jerry" Hoag

Gerald D. Jerry Hoag, age 62, of Council Bluffs passed away September 24, 2014. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on January 4, 1952. Jerry graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and worked for many years at Ballenger Automotive. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Hoag; step-father, Chet Janecek. Jerry is survived by his wife, Deb Hoag; step-son, Anthony Mock; son, Robby Hoag; daughter, Chloe Hoag; mother, Mary Lou Janecek; siblings, Jim & Denise Hoag, Rob & Georgy Hoag, Rick & Deb Janecek, Betsy Wolf, Lisa & Victor Burns, Ronald Janecek and Kenneth Janecek; a host of other family and friends. A Vigil Service is Friday (this evening) beginning at 6:00 p.m. followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
