Gerald L. ?Jerry? Riddle, age 77 of Council Bluffs, Iowa went home to be with Jesus on December 21, 2012. He was born in Council Bluffs on May 29, 1935 to the late Roy N. & Dorothy J. (Brayman) Riddle. Jerry is a retired carpenter and was a member of Carpenters Local 253. He was a member of Walk of Grace Chapel. Jerry enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as going to garage sales and Nascar. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy VanBibber. Jerry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marva ?Joanie? Riddle; daughter, Joni Myers (Steve); sons, Jerry Dean Riddle, Jeff Riddle (Kris), Jay Riddle (Cherie), Jon Riddle (Bev), Jim Riddle (Patty); sisters, Jacqie Cox (Larry), Joan James, Jean Merk; brother, Buddy Riddle; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Wednesday 6-8PM at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral is Thursday 10AM at the funeral home. Interment is in Cedar Lawn Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
