Gertrude June Waters

Gertrude "June" Waters, Age 86, passed away on March 17, 2016, at the Ridgewood Assisted Living in Bennington, NE. She was born in Council Bluffs, on June 25, 1929, to the late Carl and Emma (Birdsong) Martin. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. June married Jim Waters on April 13, 1949. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Jim, son, Dennis, sisters; Genevieve and Marne, brothers; Herb and Russ. June is survived by her daughter, Linda Lehmer (Mike); grandchildren, Brian (Olga), Matt (Mindy), Chad (Theresa), Kelli (Robert), Becci (Tim), Carrie (Andrew) and Kevin (Emily); 20 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Dianna Waters. Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral Service, Monday, at 11:00 a.m., also at the funeral home with a reception to follow the service. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery, Memorials are suggested to the family.
