Gladys I. Saar

Gladys I. Saar, 78 years, of Crescent, Iowa passed away early Saturday morning, May 26, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Cozad, Nebraska, August 30, 1939 to the late Leonard and Lola (Hiles) Hatcher. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and worked as a telephone operator for US West.

In addition to her parents, Gladys is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Lyle, Carl, and Harold Hatcher.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Saar; children, Cindy Beckman (Jim), Kenneth Saar (Deborah), Karlean Moore (Al) and Jeff Saar (Becky); sisters, Lola Mae Allen (Robert), Kathy Limpp (John); brother, Kenneth Hatcher (Deb); sisters-in-law, Beverly Hatcher, Phyllis Hatcher; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation with family will be Tuesday, 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Southwest Iowa or Heartland Oncology.
