Gloria Wellendorf

Gloria Mae Wellendorf, age 86, passed away peacefully at Azria Longview Nursing Home on October 27, 2023.

She was born August 17, 1937, to the late Henry and Helen (Widen) Arndorfer in Sioux City, IA. Gloria worked several years in banking and also as a clerical employee and retired from Lewis Central Schools.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wellendorf; sister, Shari Lavrenz.

Gloria is survived by her children Shelli (Mark) Hulsing, Michael (Kassy) Wellendorf, Jon (Holly) Wellendorf, David (Gina) Wellendorf, and Sarah Bailey; brother, Richard (Dee) Arndorfer; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, November 03, 2023.

Interment will be later that afternoon in the Morgan Cemetery near Schleswig Iowa. Memorials are suggested to Generations Hospice Care in Missouri Valley, Iowa.
