Grace M. Lachappell

Grace M. LaChappell, age 88, of Dunlap, Iowa formerly of Council Bluffs passed away April 28, 2015. She was born in Council Bluffs on August 28, 1926 to the late Frank and Grace (Greer) LaChappell. She attended school in Council Bluffs and worked at Butternut Coffee, Ralphs Superette and Walgreens. Grace was a member of Timothy Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward LaChappell and Frank LaChappell Jr.; sister, Louise Tesmer. Grace is survived by her sisters, Pearl Nahach of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Ruth Johnson of Dunlap, Iowa; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Joanne LaChappell of Clifton, Illinois; nieces and nephews. Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. on Thursday April 30, 2015 at Timothy Lutheran Church 3112 West Broadway in Council Bluffs. The visitation will be during the hour prior to the service. Interment is in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Timothy Lutheran Church.
