Gregory W. Sprinkel

Gregory W. Sprinkel, age 65, of Council Bluffs passed away at his home on November 17, 2017.

He was born in Council Bluffs on April 25, 1952 to the late Clifford and Dorothy (Southard) Sprinkel. Greg graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1970 and was a locomotive engineer for Union Pacific Railroad.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Sellers.

Greg is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sheila Sprinkel; sons, Jess Sprinkel and Zachary Sprinkel; sister, Claudia Sprinkel; mother-in-law, Donna Kinney; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment is in Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Wings of Hope Cancer Support.
