Harold E. Mccormick

Harold E. McCormick Sr., age 85 of Crescent, Iowa passed away July 4, 2014 at his home. He was born in Wagner, South Dakota on November 27, 1928 to the late Samuel & Olive (Leisure) McCormick. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and made a career as a carpenter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Nelson McCormick; sisters, Mildred and LaVelle; granddaughter, Tracy McCormick Harold is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rose McCormick; children, Sam McCormick, Robert McCormick (Dorothy), Gary McCormick (Julie), Frederick McCormick, Janie Linden (Russell), Harold McCormick Jr. (Tammy); sisters, Shirley Meyers and Hazel Mason (Lyle); grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation is Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Garner Township Cemetery followed by a reception in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. Memorials are suggested to Southside Christian Church.
