Helen M. Hunt, formerly Helen M. Johnson, 64, of Polk City, Iowa died November 20, 2012 at her Polk City home of natural causes. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2012 at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Council Bluffs. Helen Hunt was born on July 7, 1948 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to James C. and Betty Evelyn (Jolley) Hansen. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs. She was employed at Mortensen Supermarket, First National Bank, and Sapp Brothers Oasis. She was a former member of Faith Lutheran Church and was involved in several charities. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting clowns, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Willard Hunt; son, Mark (Sue) Johnson and their children, Zachary, Drake, and Seth of Huxley, Iowa; daughter, Kristin (Dan) Andersen and their children, Reaghan and Rhiley of Polk City, Iowa; siblings, Karen (Ron) Ettleman, Frank (Danette) Hansen, Susan (Ray) Widtfeldt, and Betty (Lawrence) Collinson of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Robert (Gail) Hansen of York, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James, William and John Pete Hansen. Memorials may be directed to the family in loving memory of Helen.
