Howard D. Mcclain

Howard D. McClain, age 85, of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away September 27, 2015 in Omaha, NE. He was born October 11, 1929 in Woodward, Iowa to the late Clarence H. and Elsie (Spencer) McClain. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte McClain; infant son, Steven Douglas McClain; sister, Naomi Nelson; brothers, C. Wayne, Duaine, Laurence and infant Max Allen McClain. Howard is survived by his daughters Stephanie Boyles and her husband Jeff, and Susan McClain; son Daniel McClain; four grandchildren: Spencer and Nathaniel Boyles, Melissa Williams and her husband Jordan, and Ethan McClain; one great granddaughter, Addison Eva Williams; sister, Maralynn Boruff; many nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Visitation Wednesday 6 to 8 p.m. and memorial service Thursday 2 p.m. all at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Inurnment at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.
