Illa Jean Pfeiffer

Illa Jean Pfeiffer, age 91, passed away in Council Bluffs on March 16, 2016. She was born in Craig, Nebraska on December 25, 1924 to the late Alfred and Esther (Freberg) Wedergren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Harold Wedergren; and sisters, Marjorie Sailors and Marian Wedergren. Illa is survived by her children, Jean Pfeiffer, Joan Pfeiffer, Robert Pfeiffer; sister, Lila Lander (Norman); two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Visitation is Monday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral Service is Tuesday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the General Dodge House.
