Irene M Costello

Irene Costello, age 83, passed away peacefully in her home on June 27, 2021. She was born May 19, 1938 to James and Gladys Gray in Lander, Wyoming. Irene enjoyed oil painting, spending time with her grandkids and playing bunko with her friends and neighbors. Her pride and joy was her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Patricia Hughes.

Irene is survived by husband of 64 years, Dan Costello; daughters, Pamela (Michael) Grap, Brenda (Phil) Jacobs and Danielle (Russ) Pohlmeier; grandchildren, Stephanie (Josh) Ryan, Keith (Kristen) Grap, Jacob (Grace) Nelson and Makenzie Pohlmeier; great grandchildren, Ashling, Kellen, Ada Ryan and Kaylin Grap; many family and friends.

Visitation Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 5-7pm at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass Thursday, July 1, 2021 10am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4 Valley View Dr. Council Bluffs, IA 51503.

Inurnment Monday, July 5, 2021 11am at Omaha National Cemetery.
