Jack Delbert Miller

Jack D. Miller, age 82, passed away March 8, 2016 at the Hospice with Heart Hospice House in Glenwood, Iowa. He was born in Thurman, Iowa on November 22, 1933 to the late Edward and Iva (Dorsett) Miller. Jack proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired from Midwest Walnut. He also co-owned Miller Brothers Excavating. Jack was a lifelong member of the Arrowhead Appaloosa Association. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Dwight Miller; brother, Alfred Sonny Miller and sister, Lily Townsend. Jack is survived by his wife, Beverly Miller; children, David Miller, Diana Miller; Debbie Lane (Bill), Daphne Miell (Kent), Delbert Miller (Renee), Don Miller (Jen), Dorrie Decker (Frank), Dudley Miller; sisters, Betty Colwell, Shirley Stephens, Donna Mae Cash; brothers, Jerry Miller (Patty), Edward Tobe Miller (Cheryl); grandchildren, Heather Lennard (Nate), Michael Miller (Jessica), Logan Miller (Lori), Danielle Miller, Aubrey Schlemer, Matthew Anderson, Sammi Martin (Sean), Becky Lane, Brandi Lane, Amber Wulk (Matt), Ashley Kinzer (Cody), Jack Roof, Gage Miell (Shelby), Drew Raum, Tyler Miell, Caitlyn Miller, Torie Brummett (Mark), Carly Miller, Mallory Miller, Josie Miller, Nick Decker, Kyle Decker, Spencer Decker; great grandchildren, Mckenzie, Turner, Audrey, Justin, Hunter, Tanner, Xavier, Tracy, Nevaeh, Niki, Logan, Elsie, Eric, Brian, Aria, Chase, Hudson; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Friday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is 10:00a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment is in the Crescent, Iowa Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
