Jack L. Powers, age 91, passed away at Midlands Living Center February 22, 2023.
He was born September 26, 1931, to Arnold and Dorothy (Hainline) Powers in Albia, IA. Jack proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Clay Long; son-in-law, Albert Homer; brother, Bill Powers; step-brother, Gene Long; step-sister, Grace Randal.
Jack is survived by his wife of 69 years, JoAnn Powers; children, Jack (Nancy) Powers, Gary (Ann) Powers, Julie Homer, and Joni (Charly) Huddleston; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, February 27, 2023.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Interment will be in Ridgewood Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
