James Collins

James Collins, age 86, passed away May 17, 2024. He was born June 24, 1937 in Omaha, NE. James was a dedicated individual who served his country with honor during his time in the Navy. With a strong work ethic, James ventured into self-employment. His love for fishing served as a joy throughout his life. James found his lifelong companion in marriage when he tied the knot with his beloved wife Betty, in on August 7, 1970.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sister.

James is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Sally Baker, Donna Collins, Jimmy Collins, Wayne Collins; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 11:00AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Thursday May, 23, 2024. Cortege will leave the funeral home at 12:00 PM and go in procession to Garner Township Cemetery for the graveside service with military honors. The family will direct memorials.
