James (Jamie) Patrick Philbrick, age 54, passed away at Bergan Mercy Hospital February 2nd, 2022. He was born May 3rd, 1967 to the late James Wilton Philbrick and Virginia Mae (Atkinson) Philbrick in Omaha, NE.
Jamie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who showed his love through acts of service and taught his children to do the same. Jamie was a lifelong carpenter; first working with his Dad in the family business. Jamie proudly used his skills to help anyone in need, including 19 mission trips to build homes in Mexico and as hurricane relief in New Orleans. Jamie never hesitated to lend a hand in other arenas including years of supporting Imagine Street Hockey, Little Bethlehem and as a Youth Group Leader. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Gail Jones; Mother-in-Law Bettie Ives and Grandson Patrick Wilton Philbrick.
Jamie is survived by his wife of 35 years, Suzanne (Ives) Philbrick; children, Joshua, Abigail, Andrew, Nicole and Hope Philbrick; grandchildren, Loretta and Eleanor Philbrick; siblings Tina Lassek (Ben Lassek), Mike Philbrick, Jackie Adams (Chris Adams), Joe Philbrick; nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, February 11th, 2022. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at First Christian Church on Saturday, February 12th, 2022. Interment will be in the Branson Cemetery. Face coverings are strongly encouraged by the family at both the visitation and funeral service. Our family has recently suffered a difficult loss and it is our wish that no other families would be placed in the same situation. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
