Jay D. Edson

Jay D. Edson, age 56, passed away March 4, 2015 in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born in Council Bluffs on May 7, 1958 to the late Joseph and Myrna (Bowen) Edson. He graduated high school in 1976. Jay retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. He was a member of the Council Bluffs Fish and Game Club and Ducks Unlimited. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Michelle Edson. Jay is survived by his wife, Connie Edson; daughters, Taylor Edson (Brad Fager) and Emily Edson; grandson, Brayden Fager; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Tammy Edson; best friend, Bob Kinsella; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation is Sunday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment in Ridgewood Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
