Jeneane Grimes

Jeneane Grimes, age 74, passed away peacefully at Risen Son Christian Village July 24, 2021.

She was born August 16, 1946 to Eugene and Jennie Mathis Morris in Des Moines, IA. She graduated from Centerville High School in 1964. She attended Iowa School of Beauty after High School. She was a cosmetologist for many years before she became an administrative assistant at Metro Community College. Her pride and joy was singing in the Church Choirs. She enjoyed hanging out with her family and playing board games.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by ex-husband, Jerry Grimes; brothers, Dennis Morris and Wayne Morris.

Jeneane is survived by Wayne Cleaver and their children, Matthew Cleaver and Sarah (Christopher) Steadham; brother, Walter (Michelle) Morris; grandchildren, Abbygail, Olivia, Erin, Isabella, Ulyssa; cousin, Mary Jo Chenawirth; many friends.
