Jeri Lynne Christensen

Jeri L. Christensen, age 68, passed away February 14, 2015. She was born in Council Bluffs on February 23, 1946 to the late George and Evelyn (Cole) Jacobs. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and then attended beauty school. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Christensen. Jeri is survived by her daughters, Jodi Nixon, Ronda Schiltz (Stan); brother and sister-in-law, Tom & Kathy Jacobs; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy Lane & Vern Porter, Sue & Jerry Mortensen, Andrea & John Zellmer, Beth & John Roof; 7 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Visitation is Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Funeral service is Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment is in the Garner Township Cemetery followed by a luncheon in the community room at Hoy-Kilnoski. The family will direct memorials.
