Jerri Vernon South

Jerri Vernon South, 76, of Council Bluffs died at his home on January 21, 2021.

Jerri was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis South and Margaret (Gustin) South; two sons, Jerri Vernon South, Jr. and Terry South; and siblings, Dixie Schmidt and Michael Palm.

He is survived by his children, Randy South of Council Bluffs, Kathy Hunt of Wabash, IN, and Christopher (Ashley) South of Valrico, FL; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Peggy (Fred) Gebert of Yuba City, CA and Larry (Gloria) South of Council Bluffs, Stanley (Peggy) Palm of Phoenix, AZ, Ronda (Lynn) Rich of York, NE, Susan (Tom) Hume of Richland, WA, Becky Roesler of Geneva, NE, Gina (Joe) Jorgensen of Evanston, WY; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Jerri’s wishes were to be cremated and no services will be held at this time.
