Jerry J. Coppock

Jerry J. Coppock, age 69, passed away at his home on July 13, 2014. He was born in Flint, Michigan on September 30, 1944 to the late Russell & Florence (Sanderson) Coppock. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1962. After high school he served his country in the United States Army. He was first married in 1969 and fathered 3 boys. His career span over 40 years and he worked at both Mutual of Omaha and First Data Resources. He loved golfing and bowling, but most of all he loved being grandpa. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Coppock. Jerry is survived by his wife, Judy Coppock to whom he married in 1996; sons and daughters-in-law, Shad & Alynn Coppock, Todd & Brooke Coppock, Scott & Heather Coppock; brothers, Jim Coppock (Judi), John Coppock (Josie), Jay Coppock (Diane), Jeff Coppock, Jan Coppock (Nita); 7 grandchildren, Jenna, Bryce, Mason, Logan, Sam, Gabby and Kylie; step-children, Jim Fleming and Sonja Fleming. A reception in his honor will be in the community room at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-8PM.
