Jerry L. Miller

Jerry L. Miller, age 75, of Oakland, Iowa passed away May 27, 2016 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. He was born in Council Bluffs on February 21, 1941 to the late Edward and Iva (Dorsett) Miller. He co-owned Miller Brothers Excavating. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Emily Rose Miller; brothers, Alfred Sonny Miller and Jack Miller; sister, Lily Townsend; brothers, Charlie Paul and baby; brothers-in-law, A.P. Colwell, Wayne Cash, and Mac Stephens. Jerry is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Miller; sons, James E. Miller, Bill J. Miller and his wife Donna, Scott A. Miller and his wife Kristi, Patrick L. Miller and his wife Kathleen; sisters, Betty Colwell, Shirley Stephens and Donna May Cash; brother, Edward Tobe Miller and his wife Cheryl; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorial service is 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Inurnment is in the Crescent, Iowa Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
